Casa Rossa banana cake!

This is one of our takes on the famous banana cake, so loved across Africa and beyond.
Today we added macadamia and pecan nuts to the batter. Inside, there's a rich homemade cream cheese filling, honey, and caramel shards.
To finish, we brushed the top with honey, scattered more caramel shards, and decorated it with caramelized macadamias and pecans.

I apologize to everyone, but due to an Escom fault, the Water Board cannot operate the pump that delivers water to the Mangasanja cistern.
We can only hope they can fix the problem soon.
I'll make another post to celebrate the return the water!!!
