Visit to Tulum ruins. The real name of this place was Zama which means something like Dawn. Some cool buildings but no big pyramids. I always enjoy visiting this place though, the setting is spectacular. I’d never noticed the hand prints printed on that one building before.

We had such a good time on our tour with Cesar this week! He was particularly brilliant at keeping my grandson, aged 4, happy and involved in the tour. So I really recommend this for kids as well as adults. Wish we’d seen this kinkajou! Maybe next time

Visit to XpuHa beach Duna beach club. Absolutely beautiful ocean here, very quiet, not too many people, unlike the crowded beach clubs next door. Good food and drinks

We visited the nearby Akumal Natura animal rescue today. They do great work rehabilitating and releasing animals. While we were there, the local wild spider monkeys dropped in.
