We have limited availability at our suites November, December, January, March and April. All of our 4 suites can sleep 4 people. Each with its own kitchen. Our enclosed property offers a pool side bathroom, dive rinse tank, plunge pool and tropical grounds to share. Located one block up from the waterfront strip at the dolphinarius and 2 blocks to the grocery store. Priced $90-100 usd per suite per night. We offer monthly rates as well.

Blooming flowers and a couple of friends at the suites today

Well after arriving at suites all week to eggs and dirt and leaves and holes near the walkway we arrived yesterday and many of the eggs were broken open, damaged or crushed. And then the smell hit us. Rotting, spoiled and intense. So we dug out all the eggs - some were halfway under the walkway as obviously the iguanas are fighting and if it continues none will survive. We put all the eggs - including the few that looked to be in good condition - in the vacant lot by suites, digging them into a secluded area. After digging and collecting all the eggs - as you can see in the scoop - there had to be 40-50 eggs.
We filled the large hole in with top soil. And covered with leaves.
This morning the other side was dig up a bit but no eggs 🤦‍♀️
Here’s hoping some of the eggs mature 🤞

Interesting twist! There are 2 green iguanas now. Eggs were all dug up - not sure if one is digging up the others eggs of if mom was moving them. This green iguana was on the pile of dug up stuff eggs all around - she may be the bad iguana ???? There are now 28 eggs not 12. This could be a reality tv show 🤣💙🦎

Exciting news at suites. Our large green iguana laid several eggs today! They were a bit all over and we read she won’t come back to the nest or to parent them so we scooped them together and covered them with leaves. 90-120 days we may have baby greens. There were a couple crushed eggs but 12 that seemed whole. 🤞😁🦎🦎🦎

Canelas landscape clean up is done! 🥵
Removed the vines, and the 2 coconut palm stumps. Filled in the holes of the coconut palm stumps, to the left are 2 orange and yellow hibiscus and an aloe. To the right by the laundry room are 2 yellow hibiscus- a homage to my dad who planted yelllw hibiscus at his place in Florida and they never took - and a dragon fruit cactus!
Much cleaner, more open look.
