House for rent in Mexico!
We have a Vacation Home for rent by the week or by the month in Barra de Navidad, a fishing village on the West Coast of Mexico, 400 Kilometers South of Puerto Vallarta. By air, from Los Angeles, landing at Manzanillo International Airport. it's 3 hours + a 20 minute taxi ride.The house is tucked away in the residential neighborhood of Cabo Blanco Estates, which is just ten minutes from downtown Barra; three blocks from the Hotel Cabo Blanco. two blocks from the ocean and two blocks from the lagoon. There are bicycles for your use. This modest house is located at #71 calle San Lucas. Just across the street is a holistic heath center where one can go for a massage or a temascal.
The house is quiet, safe, comfortable, cozy, and has very affordable rates.

About Barra de Navidad
We've had the house for about 25 years and we now have our friends at "Casa Chips" Hotel managing the rentals. They provide maid service once a week, and you can call on them for all your needs; laundry, water etc.
We call our house "Las Palmas", and it has recently been renovated and has a handicap entrance.
After you pass the front gate and enter the house you will find the living room area on the left. The furnishings include a futon couch for extra sleeping accommodations. There are two bedrooms, each with wall-mounted TVs, air conditioning, and ceiling fans, and there are windows in all the rooms for good air circulation, especially during the summer months.
The Master Bedroom is just beyond the kitchen and has an adjoining bathroom . It is about twice the size of the second bedroom and is furnished with a kingsize bed. It has plenty of closet space, a security box for storing your valuables, as well as a separate spacious storage room. The bathroom has a convenient door to the patio area.

The Kitchen/Dining area is on the right as you enter. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and dinnerware for four, including a four burner table top range, full-size refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster oven and coffee machine. The window opens to the back patio area. A large tiled counter separates the kitchen and dining areas, and can be used for preparing and serving meals. There are two ceiling fans in this area, and the one above the dining table, a traditional Epiquale table with four comfortable leather chairs, has excellent lighting, making it a delightful place for reading, doing paperwork, or for viewing the garden from the large window. For dining you have the choice of taking your meals inside the cozy dining nook, or outside in the patio area that separates the bedrooms.
The outdoor interior court not only provides privacy for the rear bedroom, but also provides an area to enjoy eating or relaxing outside, and has a gas barbecue. This area has two table umbrellas as well as additional seating for guests. There are also sunbathing lounge chairs and plenty of electrical outlets
