Our casa El Nido is located on a hillside in the quiet fishing village of La Manzanilla, Jalisco, Mexico in the area known as Costa Alegre or the “Happy Coast.” La Manzanilla is located on the Bay of Tenacatita on the Pacific Ocean about three hours south of Puerto Vallarta and about one hour north of Manzanillo. Got this little guy years ago in Izamal, Yucatan.
From a tiny little studio way in the back.of the pueblo ( we were doing one of our most favourite activities....neighbourhood walking)
He returned to Canada for awhile- then came back to Mexico when we bought El Nido.
He had lost his ears....(???) So the other day I found two little matching shells - and now he sits happily again. 🌴🌴🌴

Pineapple daze...🌴🌴
