When is the best time to dive the Sea of Cortez?

Richard and I get asked that question almost every week.

The honest answer?

There really isn’t a bad time to be here.

But there is something about late summer and early fall that quietly steals our hearts. Warm, crystal-clear water. Incredible marine life. Playful sea lions. The return of whale sharks. Sunsets that seem to last forever. And evenings spent around the dinner table with people who arrived as strangers and leave as friends.
