These are a few very special moments of back when we started out in the winter of 2016-2017.

We used to have 8 beds in a room with string lights powered up by a car battery and a 100USD solar panel we bought from our neighbour. It was small, quiet, at first we didn't have a kitchen... but it was home.

The wind line would come in as the sun hit the water, the contrast of it with the colors of the cacti were something out of a movie. People gathered up outside and the laughs never went missing.

This is so special to us because more than a hostel it was a dream. Slowly, with a lot of sacrifice, hard work and a clear vision anything is possible.

Sometimes in life we feel overwhelmed, the dream may feel too big but all we have to do is take the next step forward. In this case, lay the next block.

We want to thank all of the people who have helped us along the way, it has taken an army. Thankfully we have been blessed with the best quality people that life could have provided. You all know who you are and for that I am eternally grateful. ❤️

La Ventana Hostel- the first and only hostel in beautiful La Ventana, Baja California Sur, Mexico. La Ventana Hostel offers boutique hotel accommodations at a fraction of the price, with the community of a travelers hostel. La Ventana Hostel welcomes visitors from all over the world. Guests enjoy a full kitchen, rooftop deck, lounge areas, free coffee, internet, hot water, fresh linens, washing machine, beautiful ocean views, a 5 minute walk to the beach and bars, and free beachfront gear storage. Our shared room has 8 classic bunks in it with cotton sheets and two bathrooms. We have six private rooms on the property- 2 with king-sized beds, 3 with queen sized beds, and one with a full-sized bed and twin bed. Stay in central La Ventana without breaking your budget or compromising your comfort.
