Meet your Casa Verde yoga instructors- Brinn and Emily!
is a yoga and breathwork teacher in both Santa Cruz and Baja. Her classes blend mindful vinyasa flow with breath-led awareness, emphasizing functional movement and intuitive alignment to create a practice that is both grounding and energizing - playful, creative, and rooted in personal growth.
is the co-owner of and splits her time between Victoria and Baja. Her vinyasa flow classes are designed to be accessible to everyone. She brings humour and lightness into each class, helping students unwind and enjoy the practice without pressure. With thoughtfully curated music Emily’s goal is to create a mood that supports movement and ease.
As of this week, our yoga schedule is back to regular classes - everyday except Sundays at 8:30 am. Join Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Monday, Wednesday, Friday!

When you come to La Ventana, a bucket list experience is to swim with the whale sharks out of La Paz. This year, the season just opened last week (it is highly controlled by the government to ensure this endangered species is protected) and we had the most incredible trip yesterday.
While Phil and I have done this multiple times, we were waiting to take the boys until the could truly enjoy it. And yesterday was the most amazing day we could have asked for. We saw multiple sharks vertical feeding, which meant the kids could easily swim around them without having to try and keep up.
These gentle giants are so beautiful and we feel so fortunate to live somewhere that we can have this experience.
If you are looking to see the whale sharks this season, make sure you book in advance - we highly recommend going with . Both our guide Karen and our capitán Daniel were kind, knowledgeable, and wonderful with the kids.
