El Palacito Secreto is a creation of love, beauty and imagination.
The owners, from Ireland and Belgium, have an exceptional natural ability for design and creativity and both share a love for antiques and colonial style architecture. It is no wonder that they chose the historic center of Mérida, a city dense with 18th and 19th Century Spanish and French colonial architecture, to call their home. They fell in love with the architecture, beauty and charm of this wonderful city, and after a number of years they began to create El Palacito Secreto.
El Palacito Secreto was inspired by the colonial architecture of Mérida and captures a spectacular and unique display of French architecture. Displaying incredible attention to detail, with hand carved stone pillars, magnificent mosaic designs and an array of magnificent hand-made pasta tiles throughout. Each luxurious bedroom is uniquely designed and decorated with antique furnishings to provide you with the feeling of staying in a Secret Palace. Boasting a magnificent 12 m pool and located in one of the most desired area of Mérida. This is a true a refuge of relaxation, serenity and privacy.
