We have a small home available in Playa Sur for the summer, and it’s an easy place to settle into.

It’s a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home. The main bedroom has a queen bed and its own ensuite, and the second bedroom has a matrimonial bed with a separate full bathroom just outside. It works well for a couple, a small family, or two people sharing.

The living space is open with a full kitchen, dining area, and living room, along with a big-screen TV and strong WiFi. It’s set up for comfortable, everyday living—not just a short stay.

There are two outdoor spaces—one patio directly off the main floor, and a rooftop patio that gets a nice breeze in the evenings. The home also includes a washer and dryer, and two bicycles are available for use.

The location is Playa Sur, a safe, walkable area with easy access to Centro, the Malecón, and the beach.Water and WiFi are included. Gas and electricity are separate.

If you have been curious about the Sound Bath at The Way of the Hearts Energy Centre here in Mazatlán, I finally went yesterday and now I understand why people are talking about it.

What makes this place different is that it is not just a sound bath.

At the center of what Sheri McCraw is doing is something called **scalar frequency technology**. Their space uses **The Light System**, which they describe as a frequency-based light and energy field, and then they build other experiences around that, including guided meditation, restorative yoga, and sound healing. ([The Way of the Hearts Energy Centre][1])

We did the sound healing session, and it was honestly beautiful.

You settle into one of their zero-gravity beds with a blanket, the room gets quiet, there is a little gentle breathwork, and then the experience starts to unfold through sound and stillness. They use a gong, crystal bowls, brass singing bowls, and a handpan, and somehow it all works together with the frequency field in a way that feels very immersive.

For me, the hour disappeared. I went into a very deep meditative state so quickly that when it was over, the others were talking about sounds I had not even noticed. I was that far gone.

What I loved most was that this did not feel random or thrown together. There is a real intention behind it. The technology is the heartbeat of the space, and the sound work seems to be designed to work with it, not separate from it.

Whether you are already into this kind of wellness work, or you are simply curious and want to try something different in Mazatlán, I would absolutely recommend experiencing it for yourself.

The session is **500 pesos** and lasts **one hour**.
