The apartment is a bright, spacious studio with a large private terrace, 1.5 bathrooms, reliable wifi, a desk, and all utilities plus weekly cleaning included.

It’s safe and convenient, about a 20-minute walk (or 5-minute taxi ride) from Centro and just 6 minutes from a large grocery store. You save money by staying slightly outside the trendiest neighbourhoods, while still having easy access to everything.

Dreaming of Oaxaca, Mexico?

This bright and spacious studio is your perfect base to explore Oaxaca City. Just a 6-minute taxi ride or a 20-minute walk to Centro, it’s safe and close to everything you need, including a large supermarket. At half the price of a typical Airbnb, it's a budget-friendly option without compromising comfort or privacy. You’ll even have your own huge private terrace to relax or work outdoors.

The studio features a bedroom area with a double bed and a single bed that folds away when not in use. There's also a cozy living area with a 70-inch TV, a breakfast bar, high-speed wifi, a desk, and a kitchen. As an L-shaped studio, the interior is open-plan with no dividing doors (except for the bathrooms of course). There are 1.5 bathrooms: a full bathroom inside the apartment and a half bathroom on the terrace.

The owner was born and raised in Oaxaca, lives next door, speaks fluent English, and is always happy to help out or offer local tips. Weekly cleaning, all utilities, drinking water, and basic supplies are included in the rental price.

You might have noticed I’ve been a little quiet on Facebook lately. I’ve been busy helping people look for rental homes here in Oaxaca, while also juggling a few other projects.

I’ll be taking some time off for a big trip to Asia with my wife very soon. I’m really excited for the adventure.

As much as I love spending time in Oaxaca City, I also love how easy it is to travel to so many amazing places from here. We recently headed over to the beautiful mountainside town of Taxco for a week of relaxation. What a pretty place!
