I have already shared my story through various complaint websites. Originally I thought I had only lost around $800 dollars, but in fact it was substantially more. The final figure is around $20,000 (United States Dollars). I am not the only victim of a Custom Vacations Mexico scam there are many others. I have done my research and it appears that there are many affiliated companies who also have had complaints filed again them: I discovered complaints again Luxury Vacations, Golf & Spa Vacations and Best Value Vacations.
All of the timeshare vacation ownership rental companies mentioned above are guilty of timeshare fraud. They all have an operation similar to the Custom Vacations Mexico scam. There is a good chance that all of these vacation ownership rental companies either work together and/or are different branches of the same tree. My advice would be not to take part in any timeshare orientated business with these companies. Not unless you too, want to be scammed by Custom Vacations Mexico.
CVM Scam Operation
Custom Vacations Mexico say that they can rent out your timeshare weeks. They tell you that you will make a fast profit and that they have a large contact list of people waiting to rent out your weeks. At the time it was a very convincing sales pitch. C.V.M will tell you that they conducted an extensive survey about the state vacation ownership rental market in Mexico. They will also say that they have set up best inventory control and online reservation system on the market. This is all part of the intricate web that is the Custom Vacation Mexicos scam. C.V.M was created in 2011 (It says so on their website) but apparently they have over 40 years of vacation ownership experience. Perhaps all of their employees are 60 years old?
Custom Vacations Mexico Scam Conclusion
Despite their claims about demographic analysis and years of experience in the vacation ownership market, Custom Vacations Mexico (CVM) is a fraudulent company who scammed me. I lost a considerable amount of money and time, and now there is no way to get it back. I attempted to contact CVM, complaints were all ignored. I will continue to share my story, and if anyone else has had a similar Custom Vacations Mexico scam experience, contact me via email. I want at least part of my money back and a formal apology, until this happens I will continue to expose the truth behind the Custom Vacations Mexico scam and the C.V.M fraudulent operation.
