We are at the south end of Playa del Carmen in an area called Playacar. Playacar is divided into 2 phases. We are in the middle of Phase 1, which is very different than Phase 2. Our phase is a very private, safe, gated, beachfront neighborhood. It is all single family houses except for one other condominium and one hotel, both of which are at the entrance to our neighborhood. We are about a 10 minute walk along the beach, or a short taxi ride, to 5th Avenue, locally known as La Quinta. There you will find hundreds of restaurants.(Trip Advisor lists over 1100 for Playa del Carmen!) They serve everything from tacos or ceviche to Thai to French cuisine. The atmospheres range from sand-in-your-toes to high-end, fine dining, and you can spend as little or as much as you want. We have 3 studio apartments available. Rates start from US$89 per night in the low season and up. Additional guests are $10 per person per night for more than 2 people. There is also a $99 non refundable administrative fee for each booking. Maximum Occupancy is 4 people. Until you have a confirmed reservation with a deposit, all rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are generally higher during the winter months. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 days before your scheduled arrival. You can cancel up to 30 days before your scheduled arrival for a full refund, less a $99 fee. There is also a $250 damage deposit. It will be refunded to you a few days after your departure provided there isn't any damage, and nobody smokes inside.
