The OSA MARIPOSA serves as an alternative oasis to travelers who want to visit the beach and enjoy a relaxed, peaceful environment without losing access to the city and all it has to offer. We are situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood made up of sandy streets, fruit trees, small shops and smiley faces. Just two blocks (100 meters) to the beach and halfway between the two best surf breaks (

Zicatela and La Punta), barely a three minute walk to the highway the hotelito is well situated for many activities. Commuting to the center of town (banks, bus stations, super market) takes no more than about 7 minutes in taxi or local bus and, of course, walking along the beach is an option as well. You can find various internet cafes, mini-supermarkets, restaurants, diners, yoga classes, surf shops, movies and more.
