The Birth of Brand X Motor Tours
While my wife and I were visiting Puerto Escondido on a surf trip, a good friend of mine informed me that a new resort had been opened up with no motor sports activities available. I quickly came up with some ideas to bring off road activities to their clients and presented them to the Owner and CFO. With my previous experience as a Pro Motocross and Quad racer they encouraged me to put those ideas into fruition. The idea of leaving the comfort of my home in Ventura, California to build this company was no problem for me. I became eager to sell my home and move to Mexico so that I can share my passion of motor sports activities with the locals from Puerto Escondido as well as people from all over the world who have yet to travel to Puerto! With my company in California, I have been offering custom design tile work to Southern California for over 25 years. But venturing into a new business where my wife and I can enjoy giving people a way to explore Puerto Escondido’s authentic and beautiful landscape with a little freedom from guided tours has brought a new and deep satisfaction into my life.
Brand X Moto Tours has now evolved into a scooter and motorcycle rental company as well. When I was surfing at Zicetella Beach(in Puerto Escondido), I realized there were no available and quality scooters to be rented for the Surfers and tourists to enjoy the freedom of exploring Puerto Escondido’s authentic city and beautiful landscape on their own terms. We have now grown to two fully equipped rental shops. One across the street from the Santa Fe Hotel and our new and bigger shop on Las Brisas across from Skydive Puerto Escondido. We offer paddle boarding and guided motorcycle tours in the mountains surrounding the beautiful town of Puerto Escondido.
