To our dog lover guests who bring them along … keep informed of the new requirements at the border:

“I stopped at the Lukeville border today and asked about the new dog crossing requirements that take effect July 1.

According to the border officials:

You must carry your U.S. dog documentation when traveling into or out of Mexico.

Before returning to the U.S., you must have your dog's required health certificate completed and endorsed by a SENASICA-approved veterinarian or another specifically authorized Mexican veterinarian.

The endorsed health certificate is only valid for 5 days from the date it is issued when returning to the U.S.

These requirements will remain in effect until the CDC lifts them. If you travel to Mexico with your dog, you'll need to complete this process each time you return to the United States.”

This is in addition to the already in place CDC requirements!

Historic Milestone
The Malecón Fundadores will display the LGBTQ+ Rainbow flag for the first time.
