Nombre común: Verbena de las dunas
Nombre científico: Abronia villosa
Nombre en ingles: Desert Sand Verbena

Pertenece a la familia Nyctaginaceae, presenta 50 cm de ancho, 20 cm de altura , con hojas suaves y racimos de flores rosas, que aparecen durante las lluvias de invierno, se distribuye en los desiertos del suroeste de Estados Unidos y norte de México y la costa sur de California y Baja California. Tiene una fragancia muy dulce.
Generalmente crecen entre febrero y mayo.
