Hi Everyone! Just got back from the condo in Puerto Vallarta so going to post some updated pictures of the improvements we have made over the past couple of years during Covid.

Although Rick's condo came with its own coffee machine this organic cafe was two minutes down the road and we treated ourselves to a medium coffee (Tyler) and a medium latte (me) each day on our trip for under 5 bucks including tip!

Last night we had dinner made from items bought at the Mega once again. The food there is amazing. Again we had a roasted chicken, we bought nacho chips, cheese, made fresh daily salsa and guacamole (which we have been putting on absolutely everything including our breakfast eggs) and tonight made chicken nachos. The first night we bought their store made rice to have with the chicken, the food in the Mega is excellent. We were told there was a store 4 far blocks up that had better produce but they were wrong, the food at the Mega was way better and when Rick says its right next door, it's literally the building that's right next door. So convenient to get absolutely anything you need in three minutes of walking without feeling like such a large complex is right beside you. This has been great!

We arrived at the airport Sunday afternoon and although we had a car rented we decided to pass on taking it and simply hopped in a cab. Like Rick told us it was a 215 peso and 15 minute cab ride to the condo, which was less than 20 bucks CDN, cheap and easy. Once we arrived Jamie greeted us, he helped us with our bags and showed us where we needed to go. The elevator to the 4th floor (which we need to use because of the stroller) is state of the art and the condo has everything we need for our ten day stay. Gas stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, 18L water bottle with dispenser (for drinking and making ice cubes with however the water here is filtered so you won't get sick from brushing your teeth using the tap), iron, ironing board, in suite washer and dryer, towels, face clothes, ice cube trays, wine opener, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery. Along with all of that I'm able to post from here because we have free wifi with excellent reception, a wall mounted flat screen TV with Shaw cable, a DVD player (we saw a blockbuster down the street the other day on our walk), air conditioners in both the living room and bedroom so we can control just how cool we want the place to be whether we just cool the bedroom or the whole space (we prefer to open the glass doors right across and enjoy the breeze but need a cooler room for our young kids from time to time), and it has a safe although we haven't used it. We feel completely safe and secure here. The best feature for me is the exceptionally large door and entry space for my stroller. I hardly even notice we have it here there's so much room to wheel it in and have it parked at the front door. This space is awesome.

Our uniquely designed kitchen area with the 4 bar stools offers an amazing start to your day in Puerto Vallarta. We had a glass counter top installed along with local rocks backsplash to give this area of our condo a different and comfortable feel. Hey Everybody! This is our condo in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. When we bought it new 7 years ago we had a good friend and movie set designer, Marcelo Del Rio, redesign the interior making it a very unique get-away experience.
