Caught these little coatis having a great time inside the new Hacienda Maria Elena. That’s what happens when you build in the jungle… you don’t just live in it, you become part of it.

The finishing touches are coming together… but clearly, the locals have already given their approval.

Big progress happening at Hacienda Maria Elena!

The restaurant space is really starting to come alive. The tiles are now fully installed on the floors and walls, and you can finally see the vision taking shape. What used to be a construction zone is slowly turning into the warm, elegant space where our guests will enjoy breakfasts, dinners, and long evenings under the Vallarta sky.

But the job is far from over…

In the second video you’ll see the mountain of tiles still waiting to be installed throughout the house. Let’s just say… I definitely don’t envy the tile crew right now. That’s a serious amount of work ahead of them! 😅

Step by step, piece by piece, Hacienda Maria Elena is coming together, and we’re getting closer to welcoming you all.

Big progress update from Hacienda Maria Elena 🌿✨

Today’s video shows one of the rooms freshly painted and the new flooring going in, and wow, it’s starting to finally feel real. You can see the vision coming to life piece by piece.

Yes, there is still a long road ahead and many details to finish (as always with a luxury build), but the exciting part is that we are now moving into the finishing stage. Paint, floors, textures, and all the little touches that turn a construction site into a beautiful guest experience.

Every day we get closer to opening the doors and welcoming you into a peaceful, elegant, jungle-inspired retreat in Puerto Vallarta. Thank you for your patience, your support, and all the amazing messages, they truly keep us motivated during this journey.

The dream is no longer just plans… it’s becoming reality.

Life is normal.
Costco is open.
People shopping, laughing, living their lives.

Despite all the crazy videos and rumors going around online saying Costco burned down and that everything is chaos, I’m literally here right now and everything is completely fine.

No fires.
No panic.
No destruction.

Just a normal day, full carts, families shopping, and business as usual.

Last night was exactly how it should be, good food, great company, laughter, and a beautiful table shared with friends, family, and clients here in Mexico.

Life is calm, people are out, restaurants are open, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming as always. Sometimes the best way to show the truth is simply by living it: enjoying a meal together, smiling, and appreciating the moment.

Life in Puerto Vallarta is calm, safe, and back to normal.

After the events on Sunday, the city quickly returned to its usual rhythm. This video shows exactly what today looks like, people enjoying meals outdoors, walking along the Malecón, and living their day just like always. Restaurants are open, the boardwalk is active, and the atmosphere is peaceful.

Tourists and locals are out, businesses are operating, and daily life continues as it always does in this beautiful coastal city.

Puerto Vallarta remains a welcoming, vibrant destination where community and normal life move forward.
