The Four Winds is one of the very few remaining traditional "posadas", perfect for a real Mexican experience, and the traveler minding his budget.

The Four Winds is a small, 14 room colonial inn centrally located in a residential neighborhood just three blocks from the ocean. Guest rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Each has a private bath with a stall shower, chest of drawers and desk or table for writing, comfortable bed(s), night tables with lamps and a small, open closet.

What you see on the roof across the street from Restaurant Chez Elena's rooftop terrace is Vallarta's unique and only Katrina to match the heights of this one! It's amazing to see from this perspective. The view of the entire bay is also pretty amazing. You'll find us at Matamoros 520 between Galeana and Corona streets just up from the malecon. November 13, Restaurant CHEZ ELENA (in the little "Hotel" Los Cuatro Vientos) will be opening once again and celebrating its 43rd year of meeting and greeting guests from all parts of the world. Restaurant CHEZ ELENA opened last night to the enthusiastic, bubbly music of Trio Rio, fun, good friends, laughter and the always delicious food. This season will find us open only five evenings a week, Tuesday through Saturdays with service starting at 6:00--10:00 p.m. Diners left swearing our Margaritas and food were the very best they'd ever tasted and taking with them memories of "one of their happiest nights" in Vallarta!
