Some places you build, and some places build you.

Since 1998, Casa Las Tortugas has been part of our lives. What began as a family dream became a home, a place to gather, to create, to welcome people, and to grow alongside this little island we are so lucky to call home.

Holbox has its own rhythm. It teaches you patience, to slow down, to appreciate the simple things, and to trust that some things happen in their own time.

Behind Casa is a family that has dreamed, worked, taken risks, made mistakes, started again, and continued believing in this place through every chapter.

And along the way, so many people have become part of our story our team, our friends, our guests, and everyone who has left a little piece of themselves here.

Receiving our first MICHELIN Key feels very special. Not because of the key itself, but because of everything behind it.

A family. An island. Years of work, memories and love.

And there is still so much more to come.

With love

CONNECT. BREATHE. REPEAT. 🐢

At Casa Las Tortugas, it’s more than a vacation. It’s feeling the island.

Curated activities to truly reconnect: oceanfront yoga, moon ceremonies, sound healing and sea.

More than a hotel, a unique Holbox experience.
