We have been doing customized surf tours for our clients in Salina Cruz for over 15 years. Located approximately 80 miles south of the popular tourist destination of Hautulco, Oaxaca, Mexico, our beaches in Salina Cruz are rich with natural beauty, minimal crowds and perfect sand-bottom point surf. With multiple sand points, jetties and beach breaks between Salina Cruz and Huatulco, we can promise you will surf everyday during your trip to Las Palmeras Surf Camp. South Swells Continue! 10/8-10/14 Pumping

October is lining up for more surf with excellent conditions here in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca. Two swells are headed our way for early to mid October. Thursday, 10/8 shows two swells in the forecast combining to create solid surf. Numbers are 3ft@16sec from 203 degrees combined with a longer period swell of 1.5ft@21sec from 199 degrees. This combo looks to provide solid surf building into the following week peaking out at about 3.5ft@17sec around Wednesday, October 14th....

Strike Mission for September 2026

Early September showing solid surf in the forecast for Oaxaca. We are seeing two swells that are lining up for some early September surf in Salina Cruz. First swell begins to show on the afternoon of September 3rd and fills in on Friday September 4th, with buoy readings of 3.3ft @ 17 seconds. Wind begins to shift from a northerly flow back to south/southwest around this time as well with light winds early and steady southwest winds in the afternoon (offshore)....

Surgical Strike for End of August

The Salina Cruz forecast is looking good. We are seeing a series of swells that should line up for some pumping, late August surf. Starting on the afternoon of August 27th we should see a significant increase in size as buoy readings jump up to 3ft@17 seconds, with the swell continuing to build over the weekend and into the following week....
