We are quickly approaching the end of April and are starting to assign spots, do our referrals to neighbors and collect deposits.

We are in a mixed residential neighborhood and the lots range in size from 82' x 82' , 100' x 100' , plus a couple 100' x 150'. Each has only 2 RV'S on them by the HOA rules. Most lots have a home or greenbelt beside them. This makes for very private and quiet camping.

The pet rules are they must be on a leash if off the lot when going for walks and you must pick up after them. In Mexico in Campgrounds usually there are dogs roaming all the time, this is not the case in the fully gated and secure El Dorado Ranch where we are located.

On the premium lots there is laundry that's free to use on your dedicated day 1 time per week, yes there is nowhere else you will ever find this!

Heads up folks, it's almost April! Returning guests are paying their deposits and picking their spots. We will then begin processing new guests and referrals will commence for our neighbors spots as well. Don't delay if you want to secure your spot for next winter!

SCORE San Felipe 250 Offroad Race

The SCORE San Felipe 250 is more than just an off-road race; it’s a week-long celebration of motorsport, adventure, and community spirit. Held annually in the picturesque town of San Felipe, Mexico, this event transforms the tranquil desert landscape into a bustling hub of excitement and adrenaline.

A Week of Festivities

The festivities kick off a week before the main event with prerunning, allowing racers to familiarize themselves with the challenging terrain. This crucial preparation sets the stage for an intense competition. By Thursday, the excitement reaches a fever pitch as Trophy Truck and Class 1 pre-qualifiers take place. This event, closed to the general public, offers a sneak peek into the fierce competition ahead.

Contingency on the Malecón

Friday is a spectacle in itself with the Contingency on the Malecón. This vibrant street festival is where all racers must undergo their final inspections and safety checks. The race continues into the evening for the lower classes, as drivers battle the unforgiving terrain. The San Felipe desert is known for its harsh conditions, testing both man and machine, and many competitors do not reach the finish line.

On Sunday, the community gathers to celebrate the victors in an awards ceremony, honoring those who conquered the desert’s challenges. With the town’s population tripling during the event, the atmosphere is electric.
