At our yoga palapa last week, retreat leaders from Switzerland — who return year after year with beautiful groups — created this stunning nature mandala during their 2 week stay. 🌿

Rings of earth, sand, stones, seeds, flowers, shells. Simple, yet profound. Nature 💚.

This morning…my son opened our front door and found this amazing moth, wings spread out on the stone walkway-owl eyes! On my jungle hike I saw hearts in the leaves 🍃💚. Simple magic everywhere, you just have to look 👀.

Family work days = big progress and precious moments together. Our ecolodge has always been a labor of love — a place shaped by many hands, many dreams, and an ever-growing list of projects. There’s something special about rolling up our sleeves as a family, tackling the to-dos, and watching our jungle home continue to grow and thrive.

In between the hammering, sweeping, planting, composting, and fixing, there are the little moments that make it all worthwhile: kids learning new skills, giggles echoing through the palm trees, and that feeling of building something meaningful together.

Here’s to family teamwork, jungle projects, and the love that keeps this place healthy. 🌿🇲🇽💚
