on a well lit, safe street, Casa Belenos is a ideal tropical get-away for adults only. Each of the 4 suites has its own kitchenette, couch, airco and view of the dipping pool in the central courtyard.

Today on the Casa Belenos Nature Channel a Western Giant Swallowtail butterfly. Unfortunately no longer among the living but soooo pretty, it looks like the undersides of its wings have been painted by an artist.

Casa Belenos is just a mere two blocks from the beach, a beach where turtles nest, even a rare Leatherback turtle came and dropped her eggs (the nest is monitored and cared for by our friends of San Pancho Turtles/ Campamento Tortuguero San Pancho)! And where in spring the birds gather for a feeding frenzy. Never boring!!
