"Unique, Magical and Unforgettable Stay at Casa de la Cuesta and San Miguel de Allende" - Elaine N.
"My husband & I and our young adult daughter & her friend had an absolutely fabulous one-week stay at the uniquely charming and beautiful Casa de la Cuesta B&B. This magical place and the beautiful, historic city of San Miguel were the highlights of our two-week Mexico trip. Perched on a hill overlooking the city, we couldn't get enough of the wonderful daytime, sunset and night-time views from our balcony and the rooftop. We loved the incredible daily homemade breakfasts (we didn't miss one!), the richness of the amazing folk art collection throughout the B&B, the tour of Bill's fascinating mask museum, and the fun and delicious vegan on-site cooking class. We appreciated all the recommendations Bill gave us for tours, sights, things to do and restaurants. We so enjoyed our days and days of walking all over the historic district, the interesting architecture (including unique and varied carved wood doors all over town) and the historical tour that Bill arranged for us. And the food -- the food!! We also enjoyed a day trip to Dolores Hidalgo, arranged by Bill. Highlights were the fabulous Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Dolores Church and the handmade pottery shops that the city is famous for. We bought some unique and beautiful pottery at the JMB Talavera shop in the city. We hope to be back sometime in the near future and are recommending Bill's place to everyone we talk to!"
