We never stop improving Casa Graciela. ❤️

Our latest Penthouse upgrade is officially complete — a new KitchenAid oven and microwave, along with some pretty extensive custom cabinet work to make everything fit just right.

The funny thing is, there was nothing actually wrong with the old appliances. They worked perfectly well. We simply felt they were too small and no longer up to the standard we want for Casa Graciela.

We’ve always believed that owning a vacation home means continually reinvesting in it — not waiting until something breaks. We want our returning guests to notice something a little better every time they come back.

We think the new setup looks like it was always meant to be there. 😊

🎨 One of our favorite parts of creating Casa Graciela Pequeña...
..was collaborating with incredibly talented local artists.

Rather than filling the residence with mass-produced artwork, we commissioned 4 artists from Cozumel and 1 from Playa del Carmen to create original pieces specifically for Casa Graciela Pequeña.

Each artist was given a space, the dimensions, and a general vision...then we simply stepped back and let them create.

The results were even better than we imagined.

This is Pavel Llomp, standing beside his beautiful painting, "Graciela," which welcomes our guests as they enter the residence.

Every piece of artwork throughout Casa Graciela Pequeña has its own story, and we're incredibly grateful to the talented artists who helped bring our vision to life.

We believe supporting local artists is one of the best ways to celebrate the culture and creativity that make Cozumel so special.

🌊 One of the questions we get asked most often is...

"Who do you recommend for scuba diving in Cozumel?"

There are a lot of excellent dive operators on the island, but we almost always dive with Scuba Mau.

From the moment you step aboard, you know you're in good hands. Their dive masters, captains, and crew are professional, friendly, and safety is always a top priority. Every trip is relaxed, well organized, and simply a pleasure from start to finish.

One of the things we especially love is how convenient it is for us and our guests. Their boat picks up directly at El Cantil's private dock—just steps from Casa Graciela. No taxi. No hauling gear across town. Just grab your dive equipment, walk out your patio door, and hop aboard.

It's one of the many reasons we love living here, and one of our favorite experiences to share with our guests.

Created as a peaceful retreat inspired by the beauty of Cozumel, every detail was thoughtfully chosen—from warm natural materials and locally commissioned artwork and furnishings to the tranquil, spa-like atmosphere throughout.

We couldn't be more excited to welcome our first guests and share this special place with you.

After months of planning, renovating, decorating, and adding the finishing touches, we simply couldn't wait any longer to share it with you.

Some mornings at Casa Graciela feel almost surreal. 🌅🐦

Just before sunrise, the only thing you may hear is the peaceful symphony of birds singing from the trees surrounding the Palacio Municipal across the street. (Volume UP)

Moments later… the Caribbean begins to glow. 🌊

Fun fact: Cozumel = “Land of the Swallows” in Mayan.

The first video was taken from the northeast corner bedroom terrace just before sunrise.
The second video was taken moments later from the main oceanfront terrace at Casa Graciela Cozumel.

This is one of the many things we love most about island life here. 💙
