8 cabanas is a relaxed tropical setting with our dive shop located r Hammocks are located on each room's veranda.

This bed and breakfast paradise is nestled in between the Casa del Mar and the Park Royal hotels in the south hotel zone. All rooms have either king or queen size beds, and are equipped with purified water, a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. And there is lots of space at the pool ! No telephones, no TV, but we do have wireless internet, along with lots of sun, rest and relaxation.

You can watch forever how calmly and purposefully a stingray searches for food on the sandy seabed. 🌊

When a stingray is focused on hunting, almost nothing else matters to it. That’s the perfect moment for an underwater photographer — you can slowly approach very close and quietly capture beautiful photos and videos without disturbing this elegant ocean hunter. 📸
Moments like this are one of the reasons I love diving in Cozumel so much. Every dive feels like entering another world… peaceful, wild, and full of life. 💙

Today I had a very close encounter with a charming nurse shark. 🦈

The meeting was short, but I managed to capture a portrait to remember her by.
Nurse sharks may look intimidating, but in reality they are calm and peaceful animals that usually prefer to avoid conflict. Moments like this remind me that underwater photography is not just about cameras — it’s about trust, respect, and entering another creature’s world for just a few quiet seconds.
Cozumel never stops giving me moments like this. 🌊

For this colorful coral reef fish family, an abandoned and empty seashell is a real home — the place where most of their lives unfold. 🐚🐠

That’s why it’s so important not to touch or remove anything from the seafloor. Every shell, rock, or coral fragment may already belong to someone.
