This bed and breakfast paradise is nestled in between the Casa del Mar and the Park Royal hotels in the south hotel zone. All rooms have either king or queen size beds, and are equipped with purified water, a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. And there is lots of space at the pool ! No telephones, no TV, but we do have wireless internet, along with lots of sun, rest and relaxation.

A Rare Encounter on Cozumel! 🧡
Sometimes the ocean surprises you with a creature you may not see again for years.

Today at Cedral Pass, we spotted this beautiful Leather-backed Doris (Platydoris angustipes) — a large dorid nudibranch with a spectacular orange-red body covered in tiny pale spots.
It’s not something we encounter often on our dives. Some experienced Cozumel dive guides say they may see one only once every few years. And that makes finding one — and having a camera ready at exactly the right moment — especially exciting!
This one was about 7–8 cm (3 inches) long, quietly resting on the reef and looking almost too colorful to be real.
That’s one of the things we love about diving Cozumel: you can visit the same reefs hundreds of times, but you never really know who you’re going to meet today.
Keep your eyes open. The reef always has another surprise waiting for you. 💙

The sight of sea fans slowly swaying in the current is absolutely hypnotic.
I can watch them endlessly. Sometimes I simply don’t want to swim away from all this beauty — and if I didn’t have to stay with the group, I could probably spend my entire dive right here. 😊

Paradise Reef Shallows, close to shore, is a wonderful place not only for diving, but for snorkeling as well. You don’t always have to go deep to discover the beauty of Cozumel’s underwater world.

Sometimes paradise is just a few meters below the surface. 💙

Have you ever visited Stingray City at El Cielo?

El Cielo is one of those magical places in Cozumel where the water seems almost unreal — crystal clear, shallow, and impossibly turquoise.
And beneath the surface, there is another world. Friendly stingrays glide across the white sandy bottom and often come close to the dive boats that stop here for a surface interval between dives.
Sometimes the best part of a diving day happens when you’re not even diving.

Just put on your mask, look beneath the surface… and welcome to Stingray City!

White sand, emerald water, blue skies and white clouds. And stingrays, stingrays, stingrays...

A moment of complete harmony between humans and nature.
And for a few precious minutes, you can forget about the imperfections of our human world — inequality, racial and religious prejudice, conflicts and wars.

Paradise does exist here on Earth. Unfortunately, we cannot stay in it forever...

Angels of the Night! 🌙🐠

Cozumel at night has its own kind of beauty. When the sun goes down, the reef changes — familiar places look completely different, and even familiar faces seem a little more mysterious.

Cozumel is beautiful after dark… in its own magical way.

Take a close look at how this nurse shark breathes.
With powerful movements of its mouth and gill muscles, it pumps water across its gills, extracting the oxygen it needs.

There was once a widespread belief that sharks had to keep swimming constantly or they would suffocate. But that isn’t true for all sharks. Nurse sharks are a perfect example: they can actively pump water over their gills while resting peacefully on the bottom.

So while she may look like she’s doing absolutely nothing… she’s actually breathing right in front of us. 😊🦈
