We here Amigos Hostel Cozumel had a very very rare visitor this past Wednesday.. This beautiful lone bird stopped by to take a drink.. Using a “bird” app it might be a green heron…. A gift from Our Creator..

The upcoming sporting events that the island of Cozumel will host will be the GFNY bicycle race held this year on Nov 16,2025 and the Full Ironman will be on Nov 23, 2025. If you enjoy birdwatching, the annual Bird Festival of Cozumel will take place this year from Oct 24 to the 26, most seminars being held at the Planetario de Cozumel . Come learn about the beautiful birds that call Cozumel home including the emerald Colibri ( Hummingbird) that is only found here, on Cozumel! Here in the garden at Amigos Hostel we often have many different types of birds in the early morning hours..

With a little rain our tirtles come out!! Even a new baby coming out of its shell.. found eating today These represent hatchlings from 2022 till this June 2025!!
