The Dreaming House family is heartbroken that our beloved compadre and friend Francis Rico is no longer with us. As many of you have already heard, this morning his soul took flight into the Light. Francis was the most generous person in the world. He was an angel. It is difficult for us to find the words for how much he meant to us and how much we'll miss him. We send all our love to his beloved wife Dodi with our deepest sympathies, and to all who knew and loved him.

He supported us here in Teotihuacan over many years, especially during the pandemic when he organized the Experience Teo Zoom retreat, and then every month with calls where he would invite us all to share with his beautiful community: Alberto's Teotihuacano teachings, Veronica's delicious cooking, and Emily's art. He would include all the family members and staff and always made everyone feel loved and appreciated. He was so encouraging, always spotlighting everyone's gifts and raising us up, inspiring us, celebrating us, supporting us, and brightening up our lives in so many ways.

We know that he touched so many lives with his work and with his heart, with his music and his writings, his teaching and his practices.

Our lives are forever changed through his friendship. May we honor him by living the way he taught us, with a generous heart, creating from the soul, loving deeply, and celebrating life in every moment.

If you know Francis Rico, you know that he is one of the most generous people on earth! He’s been so generous with the Dreaming House with his Experience Teo community calls. He’s helped so many people with his generosity, organizing fundraisers whenever someone is in need, organizing events both virtual and physical, giving from his heart of his time, energy and love, and now it’s time for us to return the favor and take care of Francis! He’s had a bout of poor health and two surgeries (which thankfully went well) and hasn’t been able to work. Let’s gather our hearts and our prayers and our resources together to support Francis! 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽

The wisdom traditions of Teotihuacan Mexico offer a different view - a "dream" of life - of vibrant life affirming celebration of life as a better and more effective response to challenges - and it makes sense, right? That becoming agile, and wildly creative and resourceful, becoming highly responsive - with love and compassion as our leading light to relationships.

We're offered a vision of life as a garden - as "La Milpa" - where our differences contribute to our shared well-being. Just a little over an hour - this video includes Emily Grieves visionary art, Veronica Hernandez's delicious recipes, and even dancing horses and fireworks from the recent San Sebastian celebration.

On behalf of the entire Dreaming House extended family, we want to share our deepest sympathies and condolences with the family (Mee McCormick) and friends of our cherished and esteemed compadre Lee Richard Mccormick, a person who changed our lives completely, a person so integral to the creation and existence of the Dreaming House, a person to whom we are forever grateful for the many lives he touched and transformed, making the world a better place... An entire community is feeling his loss, and we are moved by the many words to his family honoring his legacy and remembering his bright spirit, his wisdom, his wicked fun sense of humor, his great expansive vision and creative action, and his enormous loving heart! Alberto and Veronica are so grateful that they were able to visit him in Nashville just a few days before he passed on Oct. 26. He promised that he'd come straight to Teotihuacan once he crossed to the other side, and even joked that he'd come back as a "duende" to play tricks on folks at the Dreaming House, and so we'll know he's with us when funny things happen from the invisible realms ... And we know that his spirit is one with the light now and in peace. Ometeotl!
