Exactly 3 years ago, we embarked on a passion project – one that brought us to Mexico and immersed us in a world of building our dream beach villa in a new culture and language.
What ensued was an amazing experience filled with learning and exposure to a magical place where the perfect climate, warm ocean, long, clean beaches, incredible vistas and bountiful nature come together to envelope our new home named Punta Ballena.
This Balinese inspired villa is influenced by modern and minimalist design, grounded with Mexican spirit. It’s clean lines and open air concept connects you with an abundance of nature that will fill your senses and restore your energy with every sight, sound and breath.
The Villa sits on one of Troncones’ highest points, allowing for a unique and unobstructed 240 degree ocean view with lava boulders and crashing waves in front and a quiet, sandy bay to the right.
If you’re not in the mood for sand in your toes, then take a plunge in our large infinity pool that cascades over our point leaving no seams between pool and ocean.
Or, if you’re in the mood, relax in our infinity whirlpool bath at sunset and take in the final light of the day. Troncones sunsets are legendary!
At any given moment, you can be witness to dolphins, a flock of diving pelicans or even breaching hump back whales. There’s a reason why we call this Punta Ballena – Whale Point!
