Villas Geminis is the first boutique condo hotel in Tulum, the original in providing a warm home away from home. We give a quality hotel experience with fine attention to detail. We are situated in an ideal location in Tulum town, just a leisurely 20 minute bike ride from the ancient Mayan Ruins of Tulum and the majestic white sand beaches of the Caribbean. Within a minute walk, you will find the

main avenue of Tulum town where the Riviera Maya stops and a varied selection of restaurants ranging from classic Mexican to Argentinian to Italian. Bars with live music nightly are mixed with dozens of shops with authentic, handcrafted goods. If you wish to explore even deeper into the magical spots of the area, a couple km by car you can swim in one of the fantastic Cenotes that the Yucatan Peninsula uniquely provides. Or, if you are in the mood for party and shopping, you can find it just 35 minutes by car in Playa del Carmen, and the international airport of Cancun is located an hour and fifteen minutes from here and can connect you with anywhere in the world.

Our Story

We began as a household project (condos), but as time passed we had more and more tourists requesting to stay for weekly periods. Success and demand was so high that we decided to become a Boutique Hotel. That explains the large size of our rooms, because in our DNA we always wanted to provide a home in Tulum.

Our home keeps on changing and evolving. In 2015 we became the first hotel in Tulum with an artistic concept in each room. “When I was a little girl, my mom had a book about Impressionist artists, and I was fascinated looking at it while eating my cereal! I loved to turn the pages and see all the works of art. Since then I have dreamed of doing something with those images”, tells us Cath, founder of Villas Geminis.

In 2017, we climbed a new step and we added our latest transformation: to honor the healing and alchemist nature of Tulum. Since then, we are focused on offering more authentic and real experiences, full of peace, connection and healing, inside and outside the hotel. Our motivation is to help you reconnect with yourself, that you enjoy home-cooked organic breakfasts, a herbal garden and unforgettable tours.
