Cuenta la historia que, cuando Agustín de Iturbide el militar que ayudó a consumar la Independencia y más tarde se convirtió en el primer emperador de México llegó a Puebla en 1821, apenas probaba la comida de los grandes banquetes por temor a ser envenenado.

Pero al ver los chiles en nogada, no pudo resistirse a esa combinación tan especial , chile poblano, frutas, nuez de Castilla y granada., desde entonces se convirtieron en uno de sus platos favoritos

Tal vez ahí comenzó su fama. Lo cierto es que, más de dos siglos después, seguimos esperándolos cada temporada.

Este septiembre, ven a probarlos con nosotros.

Legend has it that when Agustín de Iturbide the military leader who helped secure Mexico’s independence and later became its first emperor,arrived in Puebla in 1821, he barely touched the food served at grand banquets for fear of being poisoned.

But when the Chiles en Nogada appeared, he could not resist to the special combination of roasted poblano chile, fruit, fresh walnut sauce, and pomegranate. they soon became one of his favorite dishes.

Perhaps that is where their fame began. More than two centuries later, we still wait for their season every year.

This September, come taste them with us.
