From Malaysia to Sweden: a closer look at Swedish industry 🇲🇾🇸🇪

Around 37 Malaysian customers from 20 companies joined us in Sweden for the Monitor ERP Sweden Industry 4.0 & Smart Manufacturing Study Tour 2026, held from September 26 to October 3 and jointly organized with the Machinery & Engineering Industries Federation - MEIF.

Led by Daniel Häggmark, CEO; Tyreal Tai, Sales Director; and Shirley Chin, Customer Success Manager, the tour allowed our customers to see Swedish manufacturing in action and gain insights into smart manufacturing, automation, and digitalization. 🏭

The tour included visits to KB Components Sverige, Koenigsegg, Huddig, and Sunfab Hydraulics AB, as well as Monitor ERP headquarters in Hudiksvall, where Morgan Persson, Group CEO, and Johan Holmsten, Global Sales Director, shared our history and vision, while Adrian Aptowitzer, CEO, and Stefan Olsson, Group CTO, highlighted the technologies shaping Monitor ERP today.

The delegation also connected with Business Sweden and industry leaders from FKG, Svensk Elektronik, and Lerry.ai, exploring Sweden–Malaysia business ties, industry trends, sustainability, and practical applications of AI. 🤖

Along the way, our valued guests also had the chance to experience a little of Swedish culture — from sightseeing in Stockholm and watching ice hockey to visiting Ockelbo Moose Park. 🏒🫎

🚀 From implementation to go-live in just three months!

Congratulations to Sinaran Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. on successfully going live with Monitor ERP, marking an important step in its ongoing digitalization.

🕯️ Incorporated in 1975, Sinaran Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian manufacturer and exporter of a wide range of candles and incense products. It exports to markets worldwide, including the USA, Japan, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and other Asia-Pacific countries.

As part of its digital transformation, Sinaran Manufacturing aimed to strengthen operational stability and build a more sustainable platform to support its long-term operations.

With Monitor ERP now in place, they have a stronger operational foundation to support their day-to-day operations and future business needs.

☕ Celebrating a major milestone with Fika! 🎉

Last Friday, our team came together in the Penang office to celebrate a significant milestone for Monitor ERP — surpassing SEK 1 billion in global revenue.

In August, Monitor surpassed SEK 1 billion in revenue on a rolling 12-month basis for the first time. This marks the achievement of a goal set in 2021: to double revenue from SEK 500 million and reach the SEK 1 billion mark by 2026.

“When Monitor was founded in 1974, we could never have imagined the journey ahead of us. But one thing has remained constant – by developing the software ourselves and keeping both implementation and support in-house, we have built a concept that creates real value for our customers,” says Morgan Persson, Group CEO of Monitor ERP System.

But for us, this milestone is about more than a number. The ambition went beyond financial growth. Along the way, we set out to build a stronger international organization, advance our technology, and create a more scalable business with the capacity for continued expansion.

A little friendly competition never hurts! 🏆

Last Friday, our Core Development Team took a break from coding and headed to Escape Penang for a day of teambuilding, challenges, and friendly rivalry.

With more than 40 team members split into groups, the competition was on! 🔥 Each team raced to complete as many missions as possible, putting their teamwork, strategy, and competitive spirit to the test.

The teams also went head-to-head in a photo contest, bringing out their creative side as they captured their best moments from the day. 📸

After all the action, everyone wrapped up the day over dinner with good food, good conversations, and plenty of stories to share. 🍽️

✍️ PT Monitor ERP System and Kadin Indonesia Institute sign MoU on digitalizing manufacturing industries!

During the Sweden-Indonesia Sustainability Partnership (SISP) Business Forum 2026 in Jakarta on September 8, PT Monitor ERP System officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kadin Indonesia Institute—marking a pivotal step forward in accelerating the digital transformation of Indonesia's manufacturing sector.

The MoU was signed by Mulya Amri (Executive Director, Kadin Indonesia Institute) and Lingeswaran Nathan (Country Director, PT Monitor ERP System), with official witnessing by H.E. Daniel Blockert (Ambassador of Sweden to Indonesia) and H.E. Dr. Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana (Ambassador of Indonesia to Sweden and Latvia).
