A tree grub in the Kelabit Highlands, locally known as the 'kelatang' grub. It is rare,highly prized by the locals, and 100% exotic.
Like the sago grub, this kelatang grub morphs into a beetle. The beetle is not eaten, but the grub is.

They can only be found in two species of trees. The 'berenguled tree' and 'marabaaq tree'.
