When I was in primary school, my class teacher told me, you will be successful in life if you continue to be number 1 in class.
When I was in secondary school, my class teacher told me, you will be successful in life if you know how to score a better mark than others.
When I was in University, my professor told me, you will be successful in life if you applied what you have learnt here.
When I went for interview, nobody asked me about my academic scoring and what I have learnt, but they only asked me “what do you think of your VALUE in joining our company? What is your FUTURE PLAN for the next 5 years? How do you SEE YOURSELF being part of our company?”
