🚨 NEW SERIES ON MYPROPERTYPLACES
Every property has a story.
Some end happily.
Some become expensive lessons.
And some begin with a tiny detail that almost everyone would have ignored.
Starting today, I'm launching a new series called 🕵️ Property Case Files.
These aren't fictional stories.
They're based on real cases I've personally experienced or have been entrusted to investigate. To protect privacy, identifying details will be changed or omitted, but the lessons remain real.
As a landlord, property owner and real estate professional, I've learned that not every strange situation is a scam... but not every scam looks obvious either.
In this series, we'll explore real investigations involving:
🏠 Landlords & tenants
📄 Tenancy disputes
🆔 Identity verification
💰 Rental payments
⚠️ Scams and warning signs
🔍 The decisions that had to be made
The goal isn't to point fingers.
It's to help property owners ask better questions, make wiser decisions and avoid costly mistakes.
📁 Case File #002 is now live:
When Should a Landlord Be Worried?
It started with one unexpected phone call. What followed was an investigation involving matching phone numbers, company rental payments, unpaid utility bills and a police report I almost made.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't finding the answer.
It's knowing when the evidence is telling you to slow down.
