Not every great journey needs a loud ending.

After 11 months of cycling from France to Malaysia, Lola & Max arrived at Aman Dusun to rest, recover & rejuvenate before flying home.

Recovery is personal. Long days on the saddle, sustained endurance, and moments of intensity, each calls for its own rhythm of nourishment, movement & care.

At Aman Dusun, we honour that simplicity. No spectacle & nothing excessive. Just well prepared food mostly harvested from our garden, mindful movement & sincere hospitality.

Today, we celebrate Lola & Max for completing an xtra ordinary journey and carrying it with grace & humility.

Quite people. Meaningful experiences. This is the kind of wellness we believe in. That's our kind of vibe.

Today reminded me why I teach. A small group. Careful guidance. Proper corrections. Fruit picked straight from the farm.

This was not a performance or a promotion. It was not a commercial class or a retreat either. It was a community wellness offering. A space for mindful movement, simple nourishment, and being truly seen.

This is Aman Dusun; quite, intentional, grounded.

My recent photography trip to Rajasthan: where cows have right of way, honking is a language, and chaos somehow equals calm.

Smoky, colorful, noisy...and strangely peaceful.

No road rage. No accidents. Just presence, respect & flow. Crossing the road here requires courage, trust, and removing obstacles - basically YOGA, minus the mat.

So naturally, we started our first free yoga class with our guests this morning. Because in India, even chaos knows Zen.

Yoga teaches us that nothing is random. Life moves in cycles, not straight lines.

28 years ago, my niece Sabrina entered this world on the 16th Dec delivered by Dr. Aziz. On the very same day, in the very same hospital, Sabrina welcomed her first child - also delivered by Dr. Aziz.

Same date. Same doctor. Same hospital. Dr. Aziz just levelled up from delivering babies to delivering generations. Life is wild, bizarre, and wonderful.

Welcome to the world, little one, and Happy 28th birthday, Sabrina. Today, we celebrate full circle.

We need strong genes around here - no in-breeding drama at Aman Dusun, thank you very much!
