Official highlights from the signing ceremony for Q Centre @ Teratai, marking another key milestone in the project's development.

With the signing of the RM168.1 million turnkey construction contract, Q Centre @ Teratai moves one step closer to becoming a purpose-built 9,000-bed Centralised Labour Quarters (CLQ) designed to support modern workforce accommodation in Malaysia.

Built with compliance, operational efficiency and resident wellbeing in mind, the development reflects Q Centre's commitment to raising the standard of workforce housing through professionally managed and future-ready living environments.

𝟵,𝟬𝟬𝟬-𝗕𝗲𝗱 𝗤 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 @ 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗠𝟭𝟲𝟴.𝟭 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁

A significant milestone for Q Centre @ Teratai as RSSB Builders Sdn Bhd has secured a RM168.1 million turnkey construction contract for the development of our upcoming 9,000-bed Centralised Labour Quarters (CLQ) in Meru, Klang.

Designed to meet the requirements of Act 446, Q Centre @ Teratai will provide safe, compliant and professionally managed accommodation that supports the wellbeing of workers while helping employers meet evolving workforce housing standards.

This marks the first project under a broader collaboration to develop up to four CLQ facilities across the Klang Valley, reinforcing our shared vision of raising the standard of workforce accommodation in Malaysia.

We look forward to bringing Q Centre @ Teratai to life and delivering another purpose-built workforce housing solution that creates long-term value for businesses, workers and the wider community.

Port Klang continues to strengthen its position as one of Malaysia’s key logistics and industrial hubs, supported by new investments in PKFZ, stronger container handling performance, and ongoing studies for the proposed Port Klang Third Terminal.
