Our hostel in Kota Kinabalu had stopped operation since 31st August 2018. The business had been tough to survive, we had put a lot of efforts to continue but eventually early this year we just had to come to a sad decision to officially call it an end. We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to the whole team of PODs KK and all the guests, tour operators, Sabah Backpackers Association, friends and family who have been with us for 4 years. Who knows we might be back in the future! Again, thank you very much everyone!

Monsopiad Cultural Village

Let's take a step back into the past, to the days of head hunting and spirit worshipping, when the Bobohizan (High Priestess of the Kadazandusun), ruled the villages and took care of health and spiritual well-being of their people.

More than just a Museum, the concept of the Monsopiad Heritage Village is to document, revive and preserve the cultures and traditions, as well as the beliefs of the Kadazandusun people.
