🌿 A different kind of island tour.

This morning, before sending our guests off for their snorkeling adventure, we invited them on a short 15-minute walk around Juita.

Instead of just showing rooms, we shared the little things that make this place special.

🐝 Our stingless bee colony and the importance of pollinators.
🌱 Our composting and waste collection system, where yesterday’s waste becomes tomorrow’s soil.
🌿 Our garden, where we grow herbs, fruits, and plants that support our kitchen and our ecosystem.

At Juita, we believe sustainability isn’t just a slogan. It’s something we try to practise every day, one small step at a time.

Thank you to our wonderful guests for being curious, asking thoughtful questions, and taking the time to learn with us before heading out to explore the ocean.

We hope you leave Perhentian not only with beautiful memories, but also with a deeper appreciation for the nature that makes these islands so special. 💚

Sun was a little shy today, but that didn’t stop us. 🌥️

This evening, four amazing couples from Juita on our favourite little adventure.

We started around 5:30 PM, made our way across the island, chilled at Teluk Keke for almost 40 minutes, watched the sky put on its own kind of show, and hiked back after sunset.

No rush. No itinerary. Just good people, good conversations, and the simple joy of being surrounded by nature.

Maybe the sunset wasn’t at its brightest today, but the memories certainly were.

I think we’ve earned a new title… Cross Island Local Legends. 😄

🌿 Small actions. Big impact.

Yesterday morning, the Juita Glamping Perhentian team had the privilege of joining a beach plogging programme alongside Geng Plastik Hijau, JAG, and a corporate team from Kuala Lumpur.

What made it even more special was seeing many of our guests willingly join us. Thank you for choosing to spend part of your holiday giving back to the island. Your support means more than you know.

Together, we walked our beautiful coastline, collecting rubbish and helping keep Perhentian a little cleaner for everyone. Every bag filled is a reminder that small actions, when done together, create a real impact.

Perhentian has given us so much. The least we can do is give something back.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated—our team, our guests, Geng Plastik Hijau, JAG, and our friends from Kuala Lumpur. We hope this is just the beginning of many more community efforts to protect the beauty of our islands.
