This is our 3rd season (established 2015) as campsite operator at Perhentian Island of east coast peninsular Malaysia. Situated at RainForest Beach on the Perhentian Kecil (Small) Island. We being the ONLY operator that offers forest camps and tents living with access to secluded private beach hence we offers best of both world by having Forest and Sea on a quiet part of the world famous Perhentian Island. From the campgound, its less then 150meters to the secluded private beach and about 100 meters to our restaurant. If you are natures lover and looking for experiences Island living in tent on quiet jungle with access to secluded private beach, then your expectation will be match. Lots of fishes and corals around the area, ground squirrel, monitor lizard, turtle, gecko, various type of insects and protected bird species so you have to be alert at all time. You may have to do lots of walking to other popular places like CoralBay, LongBeach and Fisherman village. Our concept is eco-nature living with twist of island style. We plans and strives to offers full fledge GLAMPING in very near future so we are starting with CAMPING ;-p
The Location:
We are located at RainForest Beach of the Perhentian Kecil ( the Small) Island. Our place is situated at RainForest Beach is just next to Mira Beach. Once you arrive at RainForest Beach, our reception is at the restaurant just by the left-side of beachfront. From Kuala Besut pier, it will take approx. 30min fast speedboat ferry ride. Slow walks from LongBeach about 25min and from CoralBay about 15min. You can also take Water Taxi to our place. The Camps and Tents:
At the moment we offers 20 dome tents with the size of 4 adult person but to make it spacious and comfortable so we ONLY allow 2 person per tent. Each tent comes with mattress, pillows & bed-sheet. We do Not provide fan, blanket, towel and sleeping beg. Note: Due to limited capacity at our campsite and our dedication in providing each customers with high quality stay, we are only able to accept online bookings based on availability and discretionary basis, which may Exclude bookings from Malaysia, India, Africa and Middle Eastern countries. To avoid disappointments and/or potential misunderstanding, if you are from one of those countries, kindly drop us email at [email protected] to check on your booking availability. However, we are pleased to inform that we accept walk-in check in for Everyone subject to room Availability and minimum stay of 3 nights (note: NO walk-in allow for Friday to Sunday and Public Holidays). p/s: we have security dogs freely roaming our camp area! "Shared" Sky-Roof Showers and Western Style Toilets:
We offer two Western Style toilet and two Sky-Roof shower bathrooms. Only clean fresh water at the moment. Hot water very soon! Electricity and Charging:
Our generator that will start operation from 7pm till 12 midnite. Plugs, USB charging station and power banks are available at the restaurant area. We do provide FREE wifi internet between 7pm-8pm but with very limited speed (depending of telco network signal). Phone coverage:
We do have mobile phone coverage but its highly recommended to use CELCOM as their signal reception is the best within the area. CELCOM MAGIC sim package works well at our place. Your own mobile and internet:
Alternatively if you decide to have your own SIMcard for your personal 3G connection and phone-line, its highly recommended to use CELCOM as their signal reception is the best within the area. You can buy and get their Starter pack at the mainland shops or 7-Eleven shop near Kuala Besut jetty. Recommended Things To Do:
Day time - Swims, SunBath, Relax in hammock, Chill by the beach, Snorkelling, Trekking, Photography, Fishing trip. Night time - Watch SunSet, wait for turtle to come lay eggs on the beach, swims with glowing plankton, watch night sky full of stars and wish for shooting one! You can also walks to nearby beaches, fisherman village and main areas like CoralBay and LongBeach. Usual Animal Sighting:

How to get here from Kuala Lumpur:
You can go from Kuala Lumpur by night bus as it stop at Kuala Besut Pier early morning the next day or fly to Kota Bahru airport and get a taxi to Kuala Besut Pier. Option : Express Bus
For express Night bus from Terminal Bus Selatan (TBS station Kuala Lumpur), we recommend you to take bus options from company like Perdana express, eMutiara express or Sani Express. Option : Flight
If you are taking flight, there's 3 option budget airlines you can choose from; AirAsia, Firefly or Malindo Air. Make sure book the flight ticket in advance, so you can get the cheaper flight ticket to Kota Bharu airport. Then from Kota Bahru airport and get an airport taxi to Kuala Besut Pier. About 30min taxi drive. How to get here from Penang Island;

If you are taking flight, there's 3 option budget airlines you can choose from; AirAsia, Firefly or Malindo Air. Option : Mini-van or Express Bus
There's also express bus and mini-van from Penang directly to Kuala Besut jetty terminal. From Kuala Besut jetty to our place at the island;

When you arrive at Kuala Besut jetty/pier or at the Tourist Terminal, please buy your fast speedboat ferry tickets there! The offices open from 7am till 6pm. The first fast speed boat ferry start as early 8am and last till 5pm daily. They might also have extra boat working on odds hours sometimes. You may collect your fast speed boat ferry there at their respective office and make your tickets payment to them directly. They usually sell 2-ways ticket price RM70/person. You need also to pay the Marine Park fees RM5/person at the jetty. For safety reason, please buy your fast speedboat ferry tickets from the Ticket Office ONLY at Terminal Pelancongan Pekan Kuala Besut (Kuala Besut Tourist Terminal near the pier). Among our TRUSTED fast speedboat ferry operator companies that located at the tourist terminal/pier are;
