A respected violin maker, restorer, and mentor based in Cremona, Italy, Maestro Bertrand is also recognised for his specialization in cello making. Since 2012, he has made annual visits to Malaysia, generously sharing his expertise with the local violin-making community. His mentorship has played a significant role in the development of violin making in Malaysia, guiding and inspiring young makers throughout their professional journeys.

We are grateful to have had Maestro Bertrand as one of the key mentors behind our growth and achievements, and we look forward to welcoming him once again this July.โœจ

From the rhapsodic yet intricate themes of Arensky's Piano Trio no. 1 in D minor, to the intensity, nuance, and camaraderie that colour Rachmaninoff's Sonata for Piano and Cello in G minor, op. 19, this program brings together teachers, students, and friends in musical dialogue, artistry, and collaboration.
