🌕 A Full Moon, A Moment to Cherish.

Under the full moon, we hold close the people and memories we cherish;
through art, we preserve the emotions that connect us.

May the moonlight bring warmth to this special evening,
and may every gathering become a moment worth remembering.

V’Art Space wishes you a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival,
with togetherness, joy, and beautiful moments always by your side.

Wen Sin (b. 2002, Perak, Malaysia) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from The One Academy in 2025. Her practice explores the connection between nature, memory, and human emotions. Inspired by forests, mountains, and changing landscapes, she creates paintings that combine observation with imagination. Through soft light, open landscapes, and gentle colours, she explores themes of healing, memory, vulnerability, and personal growth. Believing that art can offer a quiet moment in a busy world, Wen Sin creates peaceful works that encourage viewers to slow down, reflect, and build their own personal connection with nature and the emotions within each painting.

Each artist brings their own perspective, experience, and artistic voice to Echo 69, creating a diverse reflection of contemporary art and the many stories that continue to shape our cultural landscape.

Discover the works of WEN SIN and experience her artistic journey at Echo 69.

Tikwei (b. 2001, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) is a Malaysian artist working mainly in oil painting. He graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Middlesex University London in 2025. His practice explores loss, memory, and the passing of time, reflecting on how everyday objects hold emotional meaning and remind us of people, places, and moments that have passed. Rather than telling specific stories, his paintings create quiet spaces for reflection, where memory, presence, and absence exist together. Through his work, Tikwei invites viewers to slow down, reconnect with familiar objects, and reflect on the emotions and memories they carry.

Each artist brings their own perspective, experience, and artistic voice to Echo 69, creating a diverse reflection of contemporary art and the many stories that continue to shape our cultural landscape.

Isaac Teoh (b. 1998, Selangor, Malaysia) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from The One Academy in 2020. Working primarily with charcoal on unprimed canvas, his practice explores the human figure as a site of emotional and mental experience. Rather than depicting clearly defined individuals, his figures emerge, merge, and fade into one another, blurring the boundaries between identity, body, and landscape. The raw qualities of charcoal and unprimed canvas preserve every mark and transformation, reflecting the shifting nature of memory and lived experience. His works invite viewers to reflect on vulnerability, change, and the unseen pressures that shape everyday life.

Each artist brings their own perspective, experience, and artistic voice to Echo 69, creating a diverse reflection of contemporary art and the many stories that continue to shape our cultural landscape.

✨ Selamat Hari Merdeka!✨

Celebrating 69 Years of Independence ✨

This Merdeka month, we celebrate not only the history of Malaysia, but also the many voices, stories, and memories that continue to shape our nation.

Like an echo, these voices carry forward from one generation to the next, from the past into the present, and towards the future.

At V’Art Space, we mark this meaningful occasion with our ongoing exhibition,Art Merdeka: Echo 69, bringing together a selection of contemporary artworks by talented Malaysian artists.❤️

Through different perspectives and artistic expressions, the exhibition explores heritage, growth, memory, and the connections between generations.

As Malaysia celebrates 69 years of independence, may every voice continue to be heard, every story continue to be remembered, and every new generation create its own echo.

Selamat Hari Merdeka, Malaysia! ❤️

Lucille Li (b. 1999, Selangor, Malaysia) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from The One Academy in 2020 and a Bachelor of Education (Hons) from SEGi University in 2024. Inspired by idioms, colloquial phrases, and everyday conversations, her practice explores how language shapes perception through visual narratives. She transforms fleeting moments, personal encounters, and ordinary experiences into paintings that celebrate the humour, subtlety, and poetry of daily life. Her experience working with children has further shaped a practice that embraces playfulness, experimentation, and intuitive creativity while remaining rooted in familiar everyday experiences.

Each artist brings their own perspective, experience, and artistic voice to Echo 69, creating a diverse reflection of contemporary art and the many stories that continue to shape our cultural landscape.
