Public transportation is easy to get to, with the Sultan Ismail LRT Station and Medan Tuanku Monorail Station within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. u Abdul Rahman and Masjid India is nearby from the hotel, and filled with an array of colonial architecture, a wide selection of food and an endless parade of shops, selling everything from cloth to clothing and everything in between. The Chow Kit Market is just behind the hotel, selling a variety of goods, from fresh produce to crockery at all times of the day. Plaza GM, famous for its fabric stores is also up the road from the hotel. If department stores and malls are your thing, the Parkson Department Store and Sogo Department Store is a short 3 minute walk down the road from the hotel at Maju Junction. Within 8 minutes is the Quill City Mall, and 2 stops on the KL Monorail will bring you to the world famous Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and the wide variety of malls in Bukit Bintang. KLCC is a short walk from Sultan Ismail Monorail Station, 2 stops from the hotel. Educational and medical facilities are also located nearby, with the KL Metropolitan University next door, UniKL down the main road and on easy access on the elevated pedestrian walkway, and Kuala Lumpur Hospital a short walk away. Happy Monday All!

The Federal Territory Mosque is a mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located near the MATRADE complex and the Federal Government Complex off Jalan Duta.

The Kuala Lumpur Mosque was constructed between 1998 and 2000. It is situated on a five-hectare site near the Government Office Complex along Jalan Duta. The Wilayah Persekutuan (Federal Territory) Mosque was opened to the public on 25 October 2000 and was officiated by the 12th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin ibni Almarhum Syed Putra Jamalulail. It is the 44th mosque built by the Government within the city limits. The mosque can accommodate 17,000 worshippers at any one time.

The mosque's design is a blend of Ottoman and Malay architectural styles, heavily influenced by the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. It has 22 domes made from a composite material of glass fiber fabric mixed with epoxy resin to make it durable and light.
