A beautiful flash of colour from the rainforest! The Blue-headed Pitta is a shy and elusive forest bird, easily recognised by its striking blue head, rich green back and warm reddish-orange underparts.
Usually found moving quietly along the forest floor, searching through leaf litter for insects, worms and other small prey. Spotting one in the rainforest is always a special moment — blink, and it might already be gone! 🌳✨
