Motodorm lives up to its name - it's a motorcycle themed dormitory, wonderfully designed and finished Free bike/moto is provided!

MotoDorm has 2 hand-made desgned rooms:
- mixed dorm with 4 strong-structure bunk-beds, 2 bathrooms with 24 hours hot water and cold rain shower, common area, kitchen, chill zone, fans for your comfortable staying;
- femail dorm with 3 strong-structure bunk-beds, 1 bathroom with 24 hours hot water and cold rain shower. Great quality design with rustic style and fancy decoration.The bunk-beds are

strong-structured with a very comfortable big mattress(3.6"×6.3"×8" for 1 person),on the headboard there is a reading light, external/internal plug and a locker/security box suitable for even the biggest laptops with an internal universal plug to charge your valuable electronics while sleeping or outside. The bathrooms include both a hot shower and a cold rain shower, free soap dispenser, mirrors and flush toilet.The place has some welcoming plants and a few small fish-pools. There are several fans and chill lights, a common area with party tables, plugs for your electronics, fridge, toaster, water boiler. The dorm is sited in a second floor of a shop house where the facilities only share with other guest. The host is not present in the dorm but will come 2 times a day (morning and evening) for cleaning and interacting with the guest. I live in other house near the dorm so i will be ready for any need, offer recommendations to the guest, have nice talks whenever they are free and eager to take the guest biking and showing surrounding area.

Our Story

Motodorm lives up to its name - it's a motorcycle themed dormitory, wonderfully designed and finished by Moh, the owner, a passionate biker himself.

In the centre of Kuah town, Motodorm is situated in a quiet and peaceful area. With the sight of the colourful Hindu temple just outside the window, this place is the perfect laid back space for those wanting to rest in a modern setting amidst a typical Malay town.

Motodorm is about 3kms from the jetty, a straight 30-minute walk and 20kms from the airport. Taxi fares are RM10 from the ferry and RM28 from the airport. It is close to various local and Western restaurants including Pizza Hut and KFC amongst others. A stationery, grocery, liquor store and 7/11 are just round the corner. The area is cheaper than beachside Langkawi, so it is very ideal for budget travellers. Those travelling for longer, can get a discounted rate when staying for a couple of nights. There is also a spa on the opposite side of the road. CHOGM beach, a laid back area ideal for picnics is walking distance.

There are two dormitories; one with 8 beds and another with 6 beds. There are 3 bathrooms with toilets, showers with both cold and hot water and free toiletries. High quality fans surround all the rooms and there are also fans on each bed. Beds also have their own reading light. The chill out area, includes basic kitchen amenities and complimentary tea and coffee.
