“During my second year of studies I decided to do a break to see to the world and live only with authentically person.
I started a trip around the world, I was supposed to spend only few days in each destination but I stayed 3 weeks in Taman Wildlife resort because it’s such a nice place!
I met different tourist from a lot of countries but especially local people as Staff members.
We create really strong relation each other, I was so sad to live them at the end of my journey.
I helped them in different activities and their generosity permit me to learn so many things about their culture, customs, and traditions…
I used to travel as backpackers and not in hotel but I don’t have regrets because it was not the same as in a chic resort, the community is in the heart of the place.
The comfort and cleanness was at the height, the staff so friendly and the hiking exceptional.

“ We wanted to find holiday to stick us each other in a remote place but we would like to share moments with authentic Malaysian people, well know for their good mood and generosity.
Our bungalow was good quality thanks to an adequate size, warming patio with direct view on the jungle.
As we are young adults, we were a little bit noisy but the area is so quiet and well organised that we disturbed nobody, perfect!
The activities were adapted for any age, we were not boring one second!
Regarding the community activities, it was not an objective of our stay but we enjoyed a lot to try it.
This kind of experience was new for us, used to do party, enjoy beach and mass tourism destination! It changed our mind!

« Last year, I decided to change my habits of holydays. I was interesting in discovering a new kind of experience and using my time for a good reason.
Indeed, mass tourism, every afternoon chilling on the beach or the swimming pool was not for me anymore.
I found this perfect innovative kind of holydays on the web! I was looking for something directly linked with a local population and the nature but especially respectful for the environment and the community.
So my boyfriend and I spent two weeks in a very beautiful bungalow, in the heart of a lush jungle, close of every unavoidable places in Langkawi.
The comfort was everywhere, the area quiet and the personnel friendly and professional.
But the reason why we absolutely recommend Taman Wildlife Resort*** is because we were always in touch with the local population and the activities were part of a community project.
For example we spend several afternoon in the vegetable garden with Malaysian women, helping them planting, watering, weeding, cropping…
I went with them to the next village to redistribute fruits and vegetable to the person in needs, at this moment I thought that my holidays as a real solidarity objectif.
Moreover I enjoyed a fabulous hiking with a passionate local staff who was happy to show us the fauna and flora of the amazing jungle in the resort.
This service was completely free but I decided to give him tips for this perfect time.
Furthermore, the front office staffs were good adviser regarding the activities around the site and we discovered incredible things: Langkawi Cable Car, the 2 caves, the waterfalls at the top of the hill, the forest park, the wildlife park and different hiking in the mangrove swamp.

The experience was so wonderful that we already booked for next years !
I can’t wait to come back and meet my new Malaysian friend again !
