Lembah Lenggong UNESCO Heritage Site Now we are on the way with Anjang's house. A dining area and gazebo for relaxation.

Located by the waters of Chenderoh Lake, a village concept that was created with the relocation of some old wooden houses to give guests the village ambiance but without sacrificing their privacy. First we have Pak Long's house followed by Mak Ngah, rumah Wan, Rumah Andak, Rumah Alang and Tok Ki. Rumah Kutai is ready, and we can now enjoy meal times on the water at Rumah makan Mak Limah!The village concept at the moment can accommodate a maximum of 26 adults. Then 15 minutes from the Tanjung, on an island we have 10 basic chalets, each equipped with its own toilet and shower. Electricity is provided by a solar system (go green). Get marooned away from the hussle and bussle of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet being one with nature. (This location requires a minimum of 5 pax and can accommodate a maximum of 20 adults). Kayaking, boating, trekking, fishing, fish feeding or just having a siesta on the hammock are among the things you can do. You can also arrange a self BBQ package. Settings of a traditional Malay kampung... We would love to share this with our visitors, to enjoy the ambience of calmness and serenity of the kampung environment. We invite everyone to help respect the local custom and values, and thus keep the place unblemished for our future generations to enjoy! :-)

Came Sept 20th we attended to the arrival of three friends for their break back into the kampung vibes. Khair and Azmi from Selangor while Rahim back from England arrived for a 3d2n stay. Started with the welcome drinks and intro to Lembah Lenggong they then checked in and rested. At nightfall they dressed in sarong to have the dinner traditionally sitting on the floor and eating with the hands savouring the Perak home cooking. Conversations took the evening further over coffee and dessert. A great th*****me in the 70s. The next day was relaxing and drone picture activity. The second evening they had the BBQ styled dinner.

On Sept19th we received another 15 guests from England, Switzerland, Germany, Wales, Australia, US and Spain. Started with the herbal welcome drinks and the intro to Lembah Lenggong they then proceeded with lunch and later then
checked into their homes. After some rest the group convened near the rumah makan for the sarong session. Following that they went for the village walk and the herbal recognition activity. Then we tended to the arrival of Sharena and 3 friend following that Salehah and husband Ariff. The later afternoon were an active kayaking trip in the lake for most of them. By 6pm kour 5 Italian guests arrived to add to the guests present. Rex remained for another night stay The evening traditional dinner got everyone together in sarongs and enjoying the meal in the cultural way, sitting on the floor and eating with the hands. Without doubt the silat session was the evening highlight and followed by the congkak game. A very active occasion with the 27 guests.

On the afternoon of Sept 18th we welcomed Rex for his 3d2n kampung stay experience. Then followed by the family of four with Wahida, husband and parents made their presence. After the welcoming drinks and intro to the Lembah Lenggong they then checked in into their homes. After the coffee break they were seen active around the lake. At dinner time everyone made their presence nicely dressed in sarongs and had the family dinner sitting on the floor and eating with the hands. The wonderful family and Rex interacted cordially with each other. The congkak game added to the kampung ambience.

Yesterday 17th September in the afternoon we received 15 foreign guests from Canada, US, Spain, England, Norway, Germany and Armenia for their kampung stay experience. Started with the herbal welcome drinks and the intro to Lembah Lenggong they then checked in into their homes. Shortly after, they gathered at the lawn of rumah makan for the sarong sessions and followed by the village walk and herbal recognition. Later, they were seen kayaking in the lake water while some were relaxing at the gazebos. Late evening at dinner everyone came nicely dressed in sarongs and we enjoyed the family traditional dinner sitting on the floor and eating with the hands savouring the Perak home cooking. After dessert, the silat demo kept the group active and the later the congkak game complimented the night event.

About 3pm 16th Sept we tended to the arrival of Shazelin and Nami, both are from Raub, Pahang for a kampung stay experience. After the welcome drinks and the intro to Lembah Lenggong, they checked in into their homes. Later in the afternoon vthey had the coffee break. Dinner time saw both of them nicely dressed in tradional wear for the cultural evening enjoying the meal sitting on the floor and eating with the hands. We had conversations through dessert and coffee before calling it a night.

Kampung Tourism will expose oneself on the joy of travel and highlighting experiences, providing the insights and fun experiences with the surrounding nature, the local social cultural heritage. Not just a stop. But a significant memorable event and understanding of the inner natural living ways as an inspiring destination.
The best way to understand any culture is to immerse yourself in it, and the kampung experience will allow you to do just that.
It a way to share with our guests the side of malay heritage culture that one would otherwise be unable to experience themselves. From experiencing classic Malay house architecture and archaeological sites to undertaking living arts and traditional crafts. You can see the delicate practices of the Malay culture at work in the village environment despite the modern times.

Close to 4pm on 12th Sept, Haikal and Najwa arrived from Kl and followed by the 19 foreign guests from America , Swiss, Germany Wales England, Australia, S. Africa and Ecuador. After the welcome drinks and. the intro to Lembah Lenggong they then checked in into their homes . Then everyone convened at the open field at the rumah makan for the sarong sessions. The village walk and herbal recognition followed immediately after. By 6pm some took to the cooking lessons while the others went for the kayaks while some decided to swim . By 8pm everyone was ready dressed for the traditional dinner sitting on the floor and eating with the hands. The traditional atmosphere embraced the evening mood over dinner. Conversations filled the occasion. After dessert, the group joined the silat demo for some activity. The congkak game took over the evening fun after that.

On Friday Sept 11 we welcomed 4 guests Nadia, Yana, Hanisah and Ilias for their kampung stay experience. After the welcome drinks and the intro to Lembah Lenggong they then checked in.
Soon after they were seen exploring the area despite the drizzling weather. The lure of the waters set them on the kayaks enjoying the natural surroundings around the lake. Came dinner everyone were seen nicely dressed culturally and in sarongs enjoying the traditional dinner sitting on the floor and eating with the hands savouring the Perak home cooking.
Conversations sharing of experiences filled the time at dinner.

In the afternoon on Tues 8th, we tended to the arrival of four friends arriving for a kampung stay holiday. Amanda, Najla, Christine and Ma. After the intro to Lembah Lenggong they then checked in into their homes. Soon after the lure if the lake waters saw all of them on the kayaks exploring the natural surroundings. The traditional dinner sitting on the floor and eating with the hands savouring the Perak home cooking. Every one came nicely dressed in sarongs and baju kurung which was brought along for the occasion.
After dinner the congkak game filled the evening.

Past 3pm yesterday Sept 5th, we welcomed 16 foreign guest from England, US, N. Zealand, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, and S. Africa for their malay kampung living experience. The herbal welcome drinks and the intro to Lembah Lenggong started the exposure before checking in. Then everyone gathered back for the sarong session followed by the village walk and herbal recognition.
After the walk some joined the cooking class with Asiah while some hit the water swimming and on the kayak watching sunset. Came dinner time everyone nicely dressed in sarongs and had the family dinner sitting on the floor and eating with the hands savouring the Perak home cooking. After dinner everyone got on the ground for the kayak demo. The congkak provided the evening highlights. A very active and communicative grouping.
