Here’s to every dad who says yes to a round-island kayak, one more swim before sunset, a barefoot forest walk, or leaping off the jetty because the kids asked him to.

And here’s to the dads who show up in all the steady ways too. Watching from the shore, cheering from the water, carrying sleepy little ones back to the villa, and being present in the moments that matter most.

How is it already halfway through the year?

The past six months on the island have held so much. Our first Balance Retreat, Dugong sightings once again around Pulau Besar. Families returning for another stay. New guests discovering Pulau Tengah for the first time. Even a full island buyout for an impact accelerator gathering.

And in between all that, the quieter moments too. Turtle tracks in the sand, reef sightings beneath the surface, sunsets that slow everyone down a little.

Maybe this is your reminder to do the same.

Wildlings is coming to Batu Batu this June and July 🌿

For the first time, Singapore’s award-winning outdoor camp will be bringing its Forest School magic to the island, with forest exploration, ocean discovery, campfire evenings and real island adventure for children aged 6–12.

And while the kids roam wild and free, parents get the rare gift of slowing down too.
